General Notes: Husband - John Taggart
He was a cattle dealer and was killed at Kells near Ballymena. He left a widow, who, with three sons, came to America in 1818, entering by the port of Montreal. The eldest son remained in Canada, but the widow came to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, settling near the line of Butler County, where her brother-in-law, Andrew Taggart's family had settled earlier in the year.
