General Notes: Husband - James Burns

---

During the Revolutionary war he was a supply agent for the Continental army. He served many years as a justice of the peace, to which office he was appointed by Governor Mifflin, of Pennsylvania.
He and his wife were the parents of seven sons and two daughters.
