General Notes: Husband - John Cunningham

He was a native of Ireland, where he spent the greater part of his life, receiving his education in the common school, learning the trade of weaver. He married there and in 1829 they emigrated to the United States, residing for a time in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From there they removed to the vicinity of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Mr. Cunningham worked at his trade of weaver, and was also a teamster and farmer, continuing these pursuits until his death. He and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian church. They were the parents of five sons and one daughter.
