General Notes: Husband - Samuel S. Marshall
He farmed for several years in Illinois. He was an engineer on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad from 1865 to 1877. On the 27th of March, 1877, he went to Kansas and resided there, farming and running a steam pump for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Company.
