After graduating in the Normal course of Domestic Science at Drexel Institute, Philadel­phia, Pennsylvania, she accepted the position of dietist in the Fabiola Hospital, Oakland, Cali­fornia, where she remained until July, 1909, when she was sent to Manila, Philippine Islands, the first scientific dietist sent there by the government; she remained in the Philippine General Hospital until the summer of 1911, reaching home September 15, 1911; her health failed as a result of the work in Manila, and she passed away, aged twenty-six years and eight months; she was a charter member of General Joseph Warren Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, of Warren, Pennsylvania.
