General Notes: Husband - Robert Buchanan

Three or four brothers, by name of Buchanan, came to America from the north of Ireland about the year 1724, and settled on the east side of the Susquehannah, in Drumore township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Robert, the eldest, was sheriff of Lancaster County for several terms between 1732 and 1740, but later removed to Cumberland County, where he later died.
