General Notes: Husband - Rev. Aaron Moore Buchanan, D.D.
He was a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, class of 1879, and for twenty-eight years or more was a minister of the gospel at Morgantown, West Virginia, and four years previously at Hebron, Pennsylvania. He conceived and directed a religious work that became a tremendous force in university and college life all over the country; beginning in a modest way, it steadily increased in magnitude until it became a national movement for the advancement of the Christianity.
