General Notes: Husband - Charles Post
He was brought up on the home farm, and learned the millwright's trade with Charles Cracraft, and worked at this occupation for a number of years. He married and then went to Allen County, Ohio, where he purchased a farm, built a mill thereon, and engaged in farming and milling which he carried on until overtaken by the infirmities of age. He and his wife reared five children, four of whom settled near their old home at Spencerville, Allen County, Ohio, the fifth being settled in Jasper County, Missouri. In politics he was a Republican, in religions faith a Methodist Episcopal.
