General Notes: Husband - Noah Weld Abbott

In early life he was engaged in agricultural pursuits and in lumbering, owning and operating saw mills, which proved highly remunerative, and he became well known throughout his section of Pennsylvania as a prominent lumberman. In his later years he owned and operated a farm in Sugar Grove, Warren County, where he spent the remainder of his life. He and his family affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal church, in which they took an active and leading part, and he was a Republican in politics.
