General Notes: Husband - Matthew Greer

He and his wife emigrated from County Tyrone, Ireland, in 1822, with a family of four sons and one daughter. They settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he died some ten years later. In 1835 his widow, with her three youngest children, came to Butler County and settled in what is now the southeast corner of Jeffer­son township, where she resided until her death.
