General Notes: Husband - Joseph Byerly
He was educated at the common schools and then was taught the trade of wagon manufacturing, serving his time with S. Runser, of Hickory Township, Mercer County, PA, and was employed for three years, after he served his time, in the shops of Sharon, Pittsburgh and Warren, Ohio. In 1859 he established himself in business in Pymatuning Township, Mercer County, PA, and engaged in the manufacture of wagons and buggies and general blacksmith business. In 1862 he engaged in the livery business in Sharpsville, which he conducted, in connection with his manufacturing business, for fourteen years. He was a member of the A. O. U. W. lodge of Sharpsville, and was also a member of the Baptist Church of that borough.
