General Notes: Husband - David Wall

He was a veteran of the War of 1812 and was one of the pioneers of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, having come from the eastern part of the country, and about 1815 he located near Grampian. Later he moved into Brady township, where he remained until his death.

He removed to Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, from Centre County, in 1812, and purchased a large tract of land in Penn township, which became known as the Lewis Kester farm. He cleared and improved the place, erected a log cabin in the midst of the forest, and there reared his family.

He secured 160 acres of wild land near Grampian Hills which he cleared with the help of his sons.
