General Notes: Husband - John Buyers

He married in Ireland, and came to America in 1735. The warrant for the Buyers property was issued, in 1733, to John Barnard, but became null and void because of non-compliance with the conditions on part of the purchaser. In 1744, John Buyers received his patent from John and Richard Penn for two hundred and thirty acres. The larger part of this grant remained in the hands of the Buyers' family one hundred and fifty years later.
