General Notes: Husband - Joseph Brinker
He was a shoemaker by trade.
Civil War: he enlisted in February, 1862, in the 11th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
He and his brother Simon were both wounded at the battle of Fredericksburg in December, 1862, Joseph losing his right leg at the hip joint. After the war, he resided with his brother, Carson B. Brinker, until his death.
