The forefathers of Mr. Immell came from Germany and settled in southern Pennsylvania, probably in Lebanon County.

He was born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and after his marriage came to Franklin County where he and his wife both died at a good old age. They were members of the Lutheran Church.
