General Notes: Husband - Edward Burgwin

---

He and his family came to America in 1832.
He was a miner, who lived east of the mountains for some time before settling in the area of Venango County, Pennsylvania. He owned four hundred acres in that vicinity, having bought land one and a half miles west of Davis Corners, part of which was later owned by his son Stephen. He died when sixty-four or sixty-five years old. [HVC 1919, 843]
