Emerson was a very successful agent for an insurance Co. for several years and then became interested in radio and at this time is one of the top men at radio station WDVA at Danville, VA. He was in an auto accident several years ago and lost one eye. Emerson lived with the Burgwins, Sept. 1922 - Nov. 1923 and attended school in Guys Mills.
