General Notes: Husband - John Brinton


He was born in Birmingham, England, and in early manhood emigrated to the United States, where he passed the remainder of his life as a farmer. During the War of 1812 he served in the army.

A farmer by vocation, he was an influential man in his day, held a number of township offices, and served in the War of 1812. He was a member of the Quaker church.
