General Notes: Husband - George M. Brinton


He was a farmer by occupation. In 1901 he purchased a farm of sixty-eight acres in Penn township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and made his home thereon. He travelled extensively in the United States, and in 1888 took his family for a trip which lasted four years, during which time they visited all the principal cities of the west.
He held the office of tax assessor. He belonged to Turtle Creek Lodge, No. 777, I. O. O. F., and in politics was identified with the Republican party. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
