General Notes: Husband - Jacob Dambach, Sr.
He and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1832, and located on a tract of land in Butler County, Pennsylvania, near Zelienople, in what is now Jackson township. They were natives of Alsace-Lorraine, France, and were accompanied by their family of eight children. The family resided in Jackson township for a few years and then removed to Cranberry township, where the parents spent the remainder of their lives. About three years after Jacob Dambach came to America, two sons, John Nickolas, and Jacob, whom they had left in Germany, came with their families and joined the Dambach settlement, and both spent their lives in Butler County.
