General Notes: Husband - Robert Westgate
He was born in Salem, Massachusetts, and settled in Warwick, Rhode Island, where he owned and cultivated a farm until his death. In 1687 he was chosen constable for Newport, and in 1700 he is credited with a contribution of twelve shillings toward the erection of a Quaker meeting house at or near Mashapang. His will dated September 1, 1716, probated January 10, 1718, appointed his wife Sarah executrix.
