General Notes: Husband - James Hegarty

---

He was born and married in Ireland and they then came to America and settled in Bigler Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and lumberman. Both he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian church.

He owned what was later known as the John McConnel tract of 600 acres on the north bank of Clearfield creek at the mouth of Muddy run, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
