General Notes: Husband - John R. Boyer
He moved from Union County, PA, to Clarion County, where he followed blacksmithing and farming, owning a tract of one hundred acres which he sold when ready to retire. He died at the age of eighty-five years, at the home of his son Amos. They were members of the German Lutheran Church in Salem, Clarion County, and he supported the Republican Party in politics.
