Callensburg, Licking Twp, Clarion Co, PA
He became an early resident of Clarion County, Pennsylvania. He was educated at Princeton, New Jersey, and Jefferson Medical College, and practiced medicine for many years. He was a strong Abolitionist, one of the first advocates of Republicanism in Clarion County, and was for many years an elder in the Lutheran Church.
