General Notes: Husband - Samuel Bowser


[From Bedford County, Pennsylvania,] he came to Armtsrong County in 1805 and bought land at the "Falls" of Glade Run, later known as Walk Chalk, at the junction of the two branches of that stream. He cleared the land and erected a grist mill which ground the grain of that section for many years.
