General Notes: Husband - David A. Miller

In youth he attended the common schools of Hempfield and North Huntingdon townships, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and was graduated from the Washington and Jefferson college in 1882. He studied law in the office of John F. Wentling, Sr., at Greensburg, and was admitted to the bar of the courts of Westmoreland County on August 3, 1885, and at once formed a partnership with Mr. Wentling. This partnership continued until January 1, 1901. His enthusiasm as a Republican allied to avocation led him into politics, and he was selected as secretary of the Republican county committee during the years 1902-03. On September 21, 1903, he was appointed deputy register of wills of Westmoreland County.
