General Notes: Husband - Joseph Brinker
Civil War: he enlisted in the month of February, 1862, in the Eleventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
He and his brother Simon were both wounded at the battle of Fredericksburg in December, 1862, Joseph losing his right leg at the hip joint.
After the Civil War, he resided with his brother, Carson B. Brinker, until the time of his death.
He followed the trade of shoemaking up to within one year of his death.
