OBITUARIES
Mrs. George Ziegler, 94, Cranberry Resident
Mrs. Mary Ziegler, 94, formerly of Franklin RD 2 (Egypt Road), one of Venango County's oldest residents and widow of George Ziegler, died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in the Franklin Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Braun, she was born in Germany on Aug. 16, 1873. She came to the United States at the age of six, settling in the Cranberry area. With the exception of the last six years as a patient in the Evans-Highfield Convalescent Home, she resided all her life on the farm on the Egypt Road.
She was married to George Ziegler on March 14, 1900. He died Jan. 13, 1965.
Mrs. Ziegler was a member of the Cranberry Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Charles William Ziegler, Cranberry; Harry F. Ziegler, Titusville; Floyd C. Ziegler, and Willard D. Ziegler, both of Franklin; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel at any time after 7 p.m. today. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Huff Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be made in the Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

MRS. GEORGE ZIEGLER
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ziegler, 94, formerly of Franklin RD 2 (Egypt Road), a patient in the Evans-Highfield Convalescent Home for more than six years, and widow of George Ziegler, who died Wednesday evening in the Franklin Hospital, were conducted at 11 a. m. today in the Huff Chapel.
The Rev. Howard A. Witherow, pastor of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, officiated and during the service read "Rock of Ages" and "Beyond the Sunset."
Interment was made in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens and the following were pallbearers: Harry T. Borland, Carl Whitehouse, Glenn S. McDowell, Fred B. Linn, Dale Stephens, and Lawrence G. Rembold.
Among those attending were: Harry Ziegler, Titusville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roessing, Pittsburgh.
