General Notes: Husband - James Young Brady
He settled on a farm in what was then Mahoning township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He held the office of justice of the peace there for forty-three years; after he had served a little more than forty years the Legislature passed a special act authorizing him to act for two years more. He was so thoroughly in the confidence of all who knew him that he was called upon to settle many estates, and he made many legal conveyances.
His grandson, James H., was governor of Idaho.
