General Notes: Husband - Henry Bouser

He, with his two brothers Daniel and John, came to America in 1733 and landed at Baltimore, Maryland. We assume they were close relatives of Mathias Bausser, Jr., for the following reasons: (1) They both sailed from the same port in the year 1733; (2) they settled near each other, finally in York County, Pennsylvania. Mathias came to America via Philadelphia and joined his countrymen at Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 1733. Shortly after 1739 he moved to Paradise Township, York County, where he permanently settled. It is to be remembered at that time, 1733, the port of sailing, Rotterdam, Holland, was crowded with hundreds and thousands of eager Palatine emigrants. When one ship had filled its quota, families were necessarily separated and a part was compelled to take another ship. With this in mind, we presume Henry and his brothers to be close relatives of Mathias Bausser, Jr.
