General Notes: Husband - Joseph Cunningham Stewart
He was a farmer by occupation; a soldier of the One Hundred and Sixteenth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Civil War.
He followed the business of farming all his life except that for two years he was enlisted in the service during the Civil war. He lived in Ohio up to 1887, when he moved to Kansas, where he later died.
