General Notes: Husband - George Wiegand


He came to the United States with his parents at the age of eighteen years. He served throughout the Civil War and was engaged in the lighthouse service in Florida for a number of years. He then purchased a farm in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and later went to Bradys Bend, Armstrong County, where he purchased a farm on which he resided until his death. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
