General Notes: Husband - Charles Boak


He completed his education in Scott township schools, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and then turned his attention to farming, which he followed all the years of his life given over to active labor in Slippery Rock township; in 1887, he moved to New Castle, where he lived in retirement until his death. He was a stanch Republican, and held several offices at the disposal of his fellow-townsmen.
