Man, Wife Are Killed In Crash
A Parker couple was killed in a two-car, head-on crash in Bruin Borough, Butler County.
Bonnie J. Blymiller, 59, of Parker was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:04 am by Butler County deputy coroner John Look. He issued a ruling of accidental death caused by internal injuries.
Harold Blymiller, 66, of Parker was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh by the Life Flight team. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 4 am Saturday, and his death also was ruled accidental. The Derrick was not able to obtain information last night as to the cause of Mr. Blymiller's death.
The driver of the second vehicle in the crash, Frederick R. McElroy, 20, of Chicora, is listed in fair condition in Butler County Memorial Hospital.
Two passengers in McElroy's vehicle also are listed in fair condition in Allegheny General Hospital. They are Michael Horton, 16, of 116 Green St., in Chicora, and David F. Larson, 17, of Fenelton RD 1.
Horton was transported to Allegheny General via the Life Flight team.
Butler state police said McElroy was southbound in a 1969 Chevrolet sedan on Route 266 when his car crossed the center of the highway and struck the Blymiller vehicle head-on.
Police said Mr. Blymiller was driving a 1977 Ford sedan north on Route 266. Both cars were severely damaged.
Parker, Bruin, and Petrolia volunteer ---- ----------------- assisted Butler police at the accident. Parker and Petrolia ambulances and the Parker Police De­partment also assisted the Butler state police.

Harold R. Blymiller was born in Par­ker, Armstrong County, July 1, 1912, a son of William Edward and Margaret Bullman Blymiller.
Mrs. Blymiller was born in Rockland Township, Venango County, December 11, 1921, a daughter of Lester R. and Helen Titus Feltenberger. Mrs. Feltenberger died yesterday morning.
The Blymillers were united in mar­riage March 31, 1940.
Mr. Blymiller retired in 1977 from the Glass Containers Corporation in Parker, after 42 years of service with the firm. He was a member of Glass Bottle Blowers Association Local 215.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. Mr. Blymiller was a member of the Charles A. Black Post 596 of the American Legion, and the Roy Calvin McGinnis Post 7873 of the VFW, both of Parker.
He also was a member of the Parker City Volunteer Fire Department.
Mrs. Blymiller was a member of the Parker City Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the Parker VFW Auxiliary.
Mr. Blymiller is survived by a broth­er, Frank Blymiller of Marienville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Blymiller is survived by a sister, Audine Hogan of Kittanning; a brother, Richard K. Feltenberger of Johnstown, a half-brother, Wayne Titus of Rocky Grove; and four nephews.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Blymiller was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends will be received for Mr. and Mrs. Blymiller from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home on Wayne Street in Parker.
Joint funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Earle H. Fouts, pastor of the Parker United Methodist Church, offici­ating.
Interment will follow in Kittanning Cemetery.
