General Notes: Husband - John Bloom
He was born on the Hugh Irwin farm where his father lived for a short time. In early manhood he married and then went to housekeeping on a farm - on which C. J. Bloom later lived - and remained there for three years. He then moved to the farm later owned by John J. Bloom, on which he passed the remainder of his life, dying at the age of seventy-four years. He cleared this farm and put it under cultivation and together with farming engaged largely in lumbering.
He and his wife were members of the Methodist Episcopal church at Bloomington. In politics he was a Democrat and he served in all the public offices in the township, with the exception of justice of the peace.
General Notes: Wife - Mary Ann Jordan
She was born in Perry County, Pennsylvania, and was nine years old when her people came to Clearfield County.
