General Notes: Husband - John R. Dunlap
Knox Twp, Clearfield Co, PA
He obtained his education in the Pleasant Ridge district school, after which he gave his attention to farm work and in 1868, after the death of his father, purchased the homestead. For many years he carried on general farming and stockraising with satisfactory results, but later shifted his responsibilities to the shoulders of his sons and lived in comfortable retirement.
He and wife were members of Mt. Zion Methodist Episcopal church.
