General Notes: Husband - Anthony Hinchberger

In early manhood he was a soldier under Napoleon, and survived the battle of Waterloo, but two of his brothers were killed in the army. When he came to America he brought his wife and their two children. He took up his residence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, learned the cooper and stonemason trades but took more interest in gardening and farming. He was a man of large frame and big stature, and for years was foreman of the gang of street cleaners on Market Street, Philadelphia. His death was caused by accident.
