General Notes: Husband - Thomas Eakin
He was reared and educated in Derry county, Ireland, and came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, with his parents in 1837. He lived in Irwin township, Venango County, until 1863, and then removed to Venango township, Butler County, where he thereafter resided, engaged in farming. He was a member of the Associate Presbyterian church, and in politics, he was a Democrat.
