NO REASON FOR ACT GIVEN
Budmund Levern Blair, aged 21 years, died instantly at about 4:45 o'clock Friday morning at the home of his father, William S. Blair, at Maple Dale, from the effects of a self-inflicted shot whit a revolver back of the right ear. The young man had been in good health, with no known troubles. He was known as a companionable, agreeable young man, and the evening before and this morning up until the very moment of the shooting seemed to be cheerful and in good spirits. He had been out of work for some time and companions say he had been heard to express a wish repeatedly that he had a job.
Father Was Cooking Meal.
The young man arose this morning and looked into the room where his father was packing a lunch preparatory to going to work. His father told him he need not have got up so early and for him to cook himself a couple eggs and get ready to ride to Franklin with another son, Roy Blair, of Maple

room then and a moment later the father heard the shot. He thought something had been thrown into the stove and hurried to the door between the rooms. The young man was lying in a pool of blood and never spoke or moved. Mr. Blair at once hurried to the home of Roy Blair, near at hand and told of what had happened.
The two brothers of the deceased, Orville Blair and Glenn Blair, had beer with Budmund last night, but this morning had gone out. Deputy Coroner J. Wade Osenider was summonedi but on his arrival decided that an inquest would not be necessary. The shooting had been done with a heavy 38 caliber revolver.
To Hold Funeral Sunday.
The deceased was born in Sandycreek township on March 14, 1903, and had lived for some years in Franklin. Surviving him in addition to the father and the brothers already mentioned are one sister, Mrs. Laura Bargar, of Franklin, his mother, Mrs. Clara Blair, of Franklin, and his grandfather, Andrew Blair, of this city.
The body was removed this morning to the undertaking establishment of A. J. Barron to be prepared for burial. This afternoon it was removed to the home of the father in Maple Dale, where the funeral services will take place at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon with Rev. Garrett officiating. Interment will be in the Graham cemetery on Bully Hill.
