General Notes: Husband - David M. Bole


He resided on part of the old homestead settled by his father. He was elected to the Pennsylvania State Legislature in 1848-49, and was defeated for the same office in 1850-51. He was Justice of the Peace for his township some years, and held many other minor offices. In politics he was always a stanch Democrat. He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church upward of fifty years.
