General Notes: Husband - James Boggs

He was a native of Ireland, who removed from the vicinity of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, about the year 1760, and settled on forty acres of land on the north bank of the Allegheny river, which now forms a part of Allegheny. He was killed by a falling tree while clearing a small patch of land in Allegheny County, and his widow subsequently married a man named Robinson.
