He was in the War of 1812 and settled in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, in 1838.

He was a pioneer settler in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and for some years lived near Saltsburg but later moved to another part of the county, where he passed the remainder of his life.


General Notes: Wife - Margaret Miller


She survived her husband, dying at the unusual age of ninety-nine years.
