General Notes: Husband - David Blakeslee
He was a captain in the War of 1812. He settled on Tract 150, a mile and a half southwest from Spartansburg, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, and remained till death.
He was a soldier in the Revolutionary war. He settled on 250 acres of state land, of which he cleared and improved about fifty acres. He was an influential citizen, holding most of the township offices. He died about 1848, his widow following him two years later.
Another source states that his wife had died earlier in New York state.
