General Notes: Husband - James Blair
When he was six months old his parents brought him to But-ler County, Pennsylvania, settling at Eau Claire. There he was reared and his life was spent in Allegheny Township. He was a man of sterling character and for some forty years was identified with the important movements in his section. He was a strong supporter of the Democratic party and on its ticket was frequently elected to local office. He was a leading member of the Lutheran Church. [HBC 1909, 760]
