General Notes: Husband - James Moore Bigger

He was born on the old Bigger homestead in Hanover township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He was reared and educated in there, and previous to engaging in the hotel business, was a farmer. He owned 200 acres of the old farm, which he sold in 1884, and bought the Frankfort Mineral Springs property, on which he made great improvements. The summer resort would open July 1st each year.
