General Notes: Husband - Henry Biery
He came during his early life to Emmenston [, Pennsylvania], where he purchased a valuable farm near the town site. Here he followed the occupation of farming all his life, and finally died at the age of eighty-two years.
He was an active farmer all his life and was one of those who developed the iron ore interests in the area of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He also conducted a general store at Emlenton, Pennsylvania, for a short time.
General Notes: Wife - Esther Slater
He was a soldier of the Revolution who crossed the Delaware river with Gen. Washington, in so destitute a condition that he was barefoot.
