General Notes: Husband - John Sterrett


The pioneer settler of the name, he located in Donegal township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1720, near Chikis Creek. He was very active in Cresap's war, and helped to arrest him. He was elected sheriff in 1744.
