General Notes: Husband - Daniel Waltz

His first wife died in Germany and he remarried. In 1853 he brought his family to the United States hoping to find better opportunities for advancement. He was a linen weaver by trade, but that work being difficult to obtain he secured employment in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, laying pipes around furnaces. In 1862 he moved from Pennsylvania to Saginaw, Michigan, with the children of the second union, and he died there some years later, his wife surviving him with several children.
