General Notes: Husband - John Eberhart
He and three of his brothers were among the early settlers of Hickory Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
Several years after marriage, he moved to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and opened a farm which proved to be very valuable, as the soil was rich and fertile, and underneath it was found a solid bed of coal, from the "royalty" of which they had a comfortable living.
Like his brothers, he was a tall man, though not quite so erect as some of them. He was from his youth a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
