Knox RD 1 Woman Dies In Oil City,
KNOX --- Mrs. Margaret Priscilla Switzer, 67, of Knox RD 1, wife of Raymond R. Switzer, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday in Oil City Hospital following a short illness.
She was born May 16, 1904, in Venango County, a daughter of J. J. and Catherine Exley Berlin. She was married to Raymond R. Switzer August 20, 1924.
Mrs. Switzer was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church at Wentlings Corners, Lutheran Church Women and the Onward Circle Class of the church.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Switzer; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Snively of Emlenton RD 1, Mrs. Ronald (Virginia) Hook and Mrs Fred (Peg) Fiscus of Knox; three sons, Ray J. Switzer of Meadville, Edward Larry Switzer of Knox and Lt. Gary Switzer, with the U.S. Navy at Charleston, S.C.; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Albert (Lola) Fye of Knox RD; two brothers, Wayne Berlin of Bradford and Sam Berlin of Knox RD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Charles (Rosa) Dittman, and two brothers, Charles and William Berlin, are deceased.
Friends will be received any time after 7 p.m. today at the William N. Rupert Funeral Home at Knox, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday . Rev. Lewis R. Fox, Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church will officiate.
Interment will be in the St. Paul Union Cemetery.
